What is the Diolog email extension?

We all know efficient communication with investors is essential. The current approach—where investor questions are undocumented, uncategorised or scattered across multiple email addresses—makes it difficult to aggregate and track responses. To streamline this process, we’re excited to introduce our latest update: the email extension. This powerful tool seamlessly captures and logs investor queries directly from any email inbox into the Diolog question registry.

💎 Advanced feature. The Diolog email extension is available exclusively to customers on a paid plan, offering them advanced tools to enhance and optimise their investor engagement. Reach out to hello@diolog.com.au to get started on a free trial!

How it works

Step 1: Set up your integration

To begin, you need to connect the email addresses you’d like to collect content from. These can be any email addresses where you might currently receive investor questions (e.g. investorrelation@company.com or personal IR email).

  1. On the Diolog web app, head over to the question registry and click ‘Set up email extension’.
  2. Click ‘Connect an email’. You will then be directed to a new page where you can sign in to any email.

Note, you must have ‘Full access’ permissions on Diolog to be able to connect an email for security purposes. You can view or change this in My Teams > Select user > [pencil icon] > Permissions.

When connecting an email, Diolog will request consent to collect information and content from that email. This will unlock the ability to add questions directly from your email inbox to your question registry via the extension.

To connect a Gmail email, click the ‘Sign in with Google’ button. This will direct you to sign in via Google.

To connect an Outlook email, click the ‘Sign in with Microsoft’ button. This will direct you to sign in via Microsoft.

To connect an email that is not via Google or Microsoft, you can enter your email in the ‘Email address’ text box. After entering your email in the box and clicking ‘Sign in with Email’, we’ll send you a 4 digit code to verify your email.

🔐 At Diolog, we care about information security. Review our privacy policy to see how we collect and treat our users’ personal information here Privacy Policy - Diolog Help. Also review the Customer General Terms here Customer General Terms - Diolog Help.

Step 2: Download the extension

Step 3: Sign in and use the Extension

Once installed, find the extension in your browser bar and sign in to your Diolog account on the extension itself. You can now use the Diolog email extension.

💡 In multiple teams? Users that are a part of multiple company accounts can toggle between companies depending which question registry you want to send questions to.

Step 4: Add questions via the extension
